I think it's hard to get some decent sound from the Clio. A simple exhaust on the ST gives so much character to the car, popping on downshift, crackling away when you want it. Something the Trophy never gave me even with an aftermarket exhaust. A Yozza and decat etc might be fun but...

I love the Silverstone. I think the colour and speedlines worked so well for the 200! Immense looking thing! Such a shame about the issues.

Definitely keep it for the winter. It's the perfect wagon for it. I loved the TT through Winter, ironically I sold it whilst it was still snowing in January, for profit of course.

I like the idea if i'm honest Neil. Everyone wants flagship looks with cheaper running costs. I really like it. Great compromise. Wheels are a tad marmite but you've got yourself a cracker and will sell on in a flash imo.

I prefer other colours. Lose the stripes and lights also. Much cleaner lines. Oh and the stories of reliability aren't scaremongering it's fact and more common than just stories on the Internet.

The Sl500 is definitely muted mate. We repair 2 of them and they're sort of designed that way.

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. Will reply individually in a bit. Dave it's like normal "block" but has a slice of foam attached. There is no absorption into the block so stays in the foam. Wipes on so well.

Hexlogic pads and Menzerna. Great combos. Clio paint is pretty hard but for basic polishing, White pad and 106fa is so easy to use. 3 dots, spread at speed 1 for a few seconds to coat the area, 3 dots again turn speed to 5 and do slow passes working the polish. Brilliant finish.

Wire in mate. Be reet. Aslong as it's not bad it'll be fine. QD wipedown then wax.

The box and applicator or nice but bottle should have been clear. Durability is 12 months plus. I can't comment yet but we'll see!
