Nothing wrong with Powerflow . Depends on the Powerflow outlet though . The quality does seem to vary alot . It's all down to the knowledge and skill of the guys who make them . Burnley Powerflow are spot on and a few other people who have used them agree ;)
As to the insurance question . Yes...
You definitely don't need tax on a car when you buy it . When i bought mine it was 2 weeks off being an 06 plate . I could have had it delivered and stored it for 2 weeks in the garage but i couldn't do without a car for 2 weeks so had to tax it so its a 55 plate :( .
I saw the vee at the motorshow in Lunar grey and tbh it does look alot better in that pic . In real life it looks absolutely crap . God knows what they were thinking when they decided on that colour
Looks like another good effort there Turner . But without sounding too pedantic the holes look a bit rough and not exactly round . Did you use pop rivet heads for the raised bits ?
I'd still give powerflow a call if i were you . There are a couple in your neck of the woods . Personally i wouldn't entertain kwik fit or the likes especially when you can get a stainless one for similar or maybe even less money than a mild steel one .

That'll most likely be for a mild steel exhaust i would imagine probably with a 2 year guarantee . Your better off going for a stainless one with lifetime warranty . Try poweflow . I had one on my 172 , cost £270 fabricated and fitted , stainless cat back lifetime warranty . I couldn't fault it...
I think the garage is a little misinformed or maybe they were tryin to offload some other tyres they have in stock ?
They are £81.40 delivered from mytyres .Took me 48 hours to receive mine .

You'll have to use a Toad approved installer to get the lifetime warranty and your insurance company will most likely want it installed by an approved installer as well to recognise that it's Cat 1 .
Not in my service book it doesn't . Maybe it's changed for newer cars ?
And they are recommended service intervals by Renault not guides .It's still 5 years for different driving styles and 54k for the timing belt ;)
Petrol blues the rarest , only 29 , then sunflower yellow 31 , 73 liquid yellows . :quiet:
I think they all the colours look good , especially when they've just been , washed , polished , waxed ........ but still Arctic blue for me ;)
I always layer mine with different waxes . At the moment its got Collinite 845 over collinite 476 . Before that it had CG Petes 53 and CG 50/50 , and that was topped up with CG Blitz sealant .It never makes a difference on Arctic blue layering waxes . Out of all them the 476 is the worst on and...
I'd be giving Renault UK a ring if mine snapped at 4 1/2 yrs, 43k miles . Its a fair bit under their 5 yr / 72k schedule . It's worth a phone call dont ya think ?? You never know , they might contribute to part of the bill . Thats if you've got a full service history to begin with .
We're only just over halfway through October lol ,i wouldn't expect them to hit their target sales just yet . It'll be a marketing ploy to get people into their show rooms .
^^^ Well said . It's mainly down to peoples lack of knowledge about imports why they jump on the band wagon and sl4g them off . I saved £1500 on dealer prices when i bought my first import ;)
^^^ Thats where the oem cold air feed goes anyway . Its no big deal cleaning a k+n air filter . You can buy the cleaning kits and oil to re-oil it . Or just wash it with autuglym engine and machine cleaner , let it dry and then re-oil using k+n oil . Job done
Down the right hand side you have 2 switches and 1 thumbwheel . The thumbwheel is to dim / brighten the display on your dash clocks .
1 switch has esp written on it . This turns on / off the esp and traction contorl .It always on by default , each time you start the car . When you turn it...
My 182 is an import and has both cup packs . As said . It won't come with alarm that Renault fit when it arrives at the import centre and locking wheel nuts . They stopped window etching on later 182's . The Renault alarm only has an 18 month warranty and are often problematic . So get yourself...
Like CJ says . If it's in your line of sight and bigger than 10mm it should fail . Anywhere else it shouldn't be bigger than 40mm .

Take it somewhere like this and let them have a look . They tell you exactly whether it will fail or not .
