    Hmm the it could just be the petrol 'swishing' around in the tank causing the sensor or whatever to move the needle? You know like when you park half on the road half on the kerb kind of thing maybe?

    Yeah it could be tar and clay will remove SOME tar spots tho not all. Your paint is still fairly new so keep this in mind mate, if you can put up with it the way it is for another few weeks, it maybe a good idea to leave it for a bit, tho others maybe able to give you more advice on this. Al.
