The only way this will ever be sorted is if you all get together, write a letter each to renault and to someone like watchdog. For the hassle of writing a short letter (or all sending the same letter individually signed) you might save a few hundred pounds!
Waste of money's a bit harsh! It's not my fav car (the 197) but plenty of people think they're fantastic, I think you need to have a good drive in the r27 before deciding. But if it's an option, I'd go R26.
Re the RSTuner, I was told that the 7.5k rev limit is pointless, as they're actually on a downward slope after 7k. Don't the cup racers have a lowered rev limit?
Will be an arse of a job, and look awful after. Anyone thats looked behind the standard unit will know there's bugger all space back there anyway, I seriously doubt it would fit.
I'd get as long a test drive as possible. All the people that have made the change will be very positive about the r27, as they bought it. A few people on rsport are going the otherway, so pro's and con's for both cars. I personally didn't click with the 197/r27, but a lot of people have, so try...
Don't think so, not a massive weight loss, and makes the car pretty un-livable. I want something very good on track, but useable for late night hooning!
