It's pricey for the mileage. I'd buy privately, get a much better deal. If your gonna spend that much, get a Trophy. Blown away by mine at the moment, corner speeds that would have me in the bushes in my 172/182 are easy as pie.
I know a few guys that work in dealers, told me never to touch an ex demo car. Every time I've been on a test drive there's been no warm up for the car, not how I'd treat my own car.
TBF I started this thread in appreciation of the Vee. As per usual, seems to have gone off on a tangent. I love all the RS clio's, and IMO the Vee and the Trophy are the pinnacle of the range. I'd love to have one of each.
(But obviously rather an s2000 TBH);)
No offence, but no way in hell do you get a 50mm drop on eibachs with a 172. They drop 50mm on a standard clio, the 172's are lower as standard. Apex only give 40mm, and they're pretty much the lowest you can go with just springs.
Sound wise, fairly loud. Not as loud as yozzasport though. Booms at motorway speed, but every aftermarket exhaust resonates on the 182's.
They fit as well as any aftermarket system, they all end blowing at some point due to the expansion when hot (every system I've seen has suffered this at some...
