Yeah don't use Reload as a QD mate. Once a month at the very most.
Look at Hydro2 for a QD. Dilute with de-ionised water 1:1 or 2:1. Hydro2 is a great product.
Also in the winter when hand application is advised against you just spray it on and pressure wash off.
I totally agree mate. But waxing over finest/reload is kinda detrimental. More so for winter months.
The difference in keeping the car clean is night and day.
In saying that water behaviour wise you'd be mental to wax over Finest and Reload this early after applying.
It's preference but...
If anything the coating like any ceramic coating is an amazing to wax over but you would be covering what is imo the best sealant/ceramic sealant on the market at the moment.
Do you want to wax over it?
They are selling their own products but in finest's case I would suggest a wax until a long way down the road.
James will no doubt see the thread and want to respond himself although it has been mentioned a few times that they aren't always the easiest to talk to at shows.
Anyway avoid the...
You use it as a QD though mate. If it's just for drying or water marks i'd probably suggest something waterbased like Zaino Z6.
I'd fire Andy at CarPro Uk an Email and ask if maybe Hydro2 diluted would be better then maybe top with reload at a later date.
Pop to the local bodyshop see if they'll give it a polish for you.
It might also come back if it's sat in the heat. Lacquer has a memory so to speak.
You left the birdpoop in the sun/on the car too long. Can't be helped sometimes. The lime just eats into lacquer.
Lols! After those suggestions?
Rubbishboys is very much a homemade wax and feels like it. Not the easiest to use.
I wouldn't recommend either at the moment to be honest.
Lovely mate, a very nice "show" wipe down product for some extra looks. Lovely thing. I certainly wouldn't use it for protection but feels very boutique and it's just a lovely product as is everything from Zaino.
What do you want the QD to do?
I think i'll be able to hear that... in Scotland.
2 things will happen, you will change it within a month due to utter annoyance and you will also be stopped at least 3 times by the police. Neighbours and family will also hate you but you already know that.
I do remember the first time I...
Indeed I do the exact same just work all the product out with my hands really, only takes 2 seconds, make sure they are sort of rung dry before proper drying or they'll never dry properly. Never hand an issue.
Cloths take a bit more care of course in the actual washing machine.
I've used some Fairy liquid in the past as it removes all the wax, do it for all my applicators in the sink all at the one time, rinse them out thoroughly and air dry them in a warm area of the house. We use our big family bathroom as we never use it.
Menz is much nicer to use I find than many other. Ultrafina is still the ultimate finishing polish. So oily and easy to work with. Love it.
On softside medium paint similar to my own 106FA is lovely to use but 203's has that bit more bite and finishes well.
Yeah a bodyshop will do it but i'd be looking for Bilthamber to be applied. Google them.
On the detailing front you want enhancement at least. Protection is basicly a thorough wash/decontamination and wax/sealant. Enhancement is a one step polish in most cases. Nipping out swirls and filling...
