Knackered battery , not holding a charge .Test it with a multimeter with the engine off . Anything less than 12.5volts and its on its way out .

Its all in your head , lol . Like ya say 420amps is crap , thats why all the batteries on 172/182's are crap and probably the cause of alot of problems not starting .

What car do you have ? I had a powerflow on mine and i couldn't fault it , couldn't fault the guys who fitted it . I'd have another tomorrow and i will when the 182's exhaust drops off like my 172's did , lol .

I'd just buy a 172 / 182 mate . The money you throw at it with an engine conversion won't be worth it in the long run , you'd never get your money back when you come to sell it , plus you'd struggle to sell it with a different engine in anyway .Going from a 1.2 to a 2.0 will be more than ample...

Like aaronc says , try system restore . If that doesn't work i'd uninstall the games that your brother has just installed . If it really is hardware related one of your drivers might be corrupt or even something has come loose inside . I'd try checking everything iside the pc , graphics card ...

I think disconnecting the battery is for induction kits really . I didn't do it when i fitted my k+n apollo and the car packed up after a day , i had to get the AA to tow me home cos he couldn't get it going again and he hadn't a clue what it was . I think it over fueled . After i disconneted...

Tbh mate . It sounds like its gonna need a refurb , oh well . Plenty of AG super resin , extra gloss protection and some wax should see em right when they've been done . It'll stop any brake dust sticking in the future and make them easy to clean .

There usually is , but i don't see a problem not having the lug . The piston screws in and out when its operating so it should still apply pressure to the pad .

According to the manual the main beam is a H1 . It doesn't say what the fog light is but the haynes manual says that's an H1 also .

Agree with cupster . Say nothing . I would have thought you should have paid up at the time of repair to the other car . When i crashed mine i had to pay my excess within a couple of weeks . You might be lucky and get away with it ;)

I haven't got one in my 182 . Anybody got a pic . Unless the guy who fitted my alarm had put the switch over it that disables the alarm .

It can be a bit dodgy with no servo even pressing the brake hard if your being towed on a rope , you might need to use the handbrake a bit ;)

It must have had a fair old bang . Would probably be better off just broken up for spares .

They might need longer to bed in . I thought you were supposed to treat the greenstuff pads like any other pad and not abuse em too much for the first couple of hundred miles so they don't glaze over ? You could try taking them out and rub down the surface of the pads with some emery cloth ...
