You are right, its taking a bollocking long time.
Just got a quote of £80 for 80gig hard drive, and £20 for caddy. Then I can use my recovery discs to load stuff back on, and caddy to transfer the stuff off this hard drive onto the new one. Balls.
I agree on the caddy etc, but like I said, wont it be slow as fook? I've tried putting stuff on DVD discs now as I type this on my works machine, and I keep checking the laptop and it hasnt even loaded f*cking Nero yet, and I clicked on it 10 minutes ago!!
Hmm yeah. Think I've knocked the alignment or something. I'm all for that suggestion, but wont copying everything over take an absolute iceage due to the AWFUL speed its running at?
So I need an external hard drive and a new hard drive too. Ah damn. :(
Hi guys,
I dropped my laptop yesterday afternoon after switching it off. Not a heavy drop, but obviously enough to cause damage.
I switched it back on later in the evening and the Windows XP splash page was on for around 2 minutes. It then skipped to scandisk and took another 3 or 4...

Hmm, well the XBox360 at Chrimbo should put that question to bed. I'll be reet pissed if its not HD compatible. Paid £1500 for it as it is, and only found out last week that its now £400 less. What a wonderful world we live in. You say my jokes aren't amusing. Well this one certainly wasnt...
I have the Panasonic TH42PX60 IIRC. Its apparently HD compatible, but are you implying that it might actually not be HD compatible, or do you mean people who have bought LCDs and Plasmas that arent HD compatible will be out of date in a few years?
Mine better f*cking had be compatible.
Arent the L registration models Williams 1's? The Williams 2 began life in 1994 as an M registration?
200bhp from those mods, impossible.
150mph+, nope.
Lexus Lights, woah, get to f*ck.

Other than that, and a few other queries, not a bad wee car. Apart...
She has straight hair, not curly at all. But she uses straighteners on them every day, too. I dont know why, maybe when its wet it curls or something, but unless she uses a curling iron, its always straight.
Yes she has Remington ones at the moment and they are decent enough I think. Well they seem to work. GHDs are supposed to be the best though, arent they? Not a positive vote from you though, it seems :)
Erm...ok. She doesnt want the wide panel ones I dont think. Are the pink ones on that link above? The page wont load at the moment, but I think its this computer...
Thought I'd post in Tech Chat as its a plug in related query.
Where is the best place to buy some GHD hair straighteners online? They're for my girlfriend for Christmas. Looked on Amazon and Lego Jesus they aren't cheap. Can you get a GHD hair dryer too?
Cheers :)
