Then put it in the bin!
They never have and never will be 'in fashion'. Most will fail an MOT too!
Buy some sun glasses or put down the visor would be my advice. But then, it's your car - your choice!
Why the hell are solicitors involved but the insurance companies aren't? Mental.
Get the police involved and set your insurance on the job. You'll get it sorted, don't worry.
It does say full service history, but I doubt the belts have been done. It could be a bargain, it could be a nail - who knows. £3,800 is a very good price in my opinion even with 97k on the clock if it's in ok condition.
I am the official East Midlands rep, however nobody responds to anything so i'm quitting the post. You can lead a horse to water...... They moan that nothing is arranged, and then don't turn up when things are! you can't win!
I've been trying to organise one of these witht he 197.net lot, but getting nowhere. I'll come along to this one if that's ok! and cancel the 197.net event.

Probably the lower or upper engine stabiliser, mine does it (not for much longer) get it sorted quick if it is that otherwise the flexis will split and you'll need the manifold repairing!
might not be that, but it's a possibility

How have you come to that conclusion?
its probably just a small air lock in the new caliper. It took me 2 or 3 attempts to get a decent pedal after rebuilding my brembos.
The dealer would tell you that wouldn't they! They don't want to accept that something is wrong. Put it like this, I used a litre in 12 months and 10,000 miles. That's on a fairly high mileage 197 (70k miles).
its either leaking, or burning it. Either way it needs sorting out!
I'd imagine that amount of usage is well within the tollerances specified by Renault.
If it's running ok and there's no visible signs of leakage I wouldn't be worried to be honest!
No, I could have got £20 or £30 cashback through quidco, but it was just easier to call them and arrange moving (we already have Virgin). It was hard work getting them to understand that I didn't want there TV package anymore because it's shite (I hate Tivo!)
I went with the Quidco offer in the end. So here's what i've ordered for our new house:
Sky TV entertainment extra+
2TB HD sky+ box
12 month contract
£100 M&S voucher
£120 cashback from quidco
No connection/set up fee
£31.50 / month
Then for BB and telephone
Virgin Media 120mb connection...
Does anyone know of any good sky tv offers at the minute? I'm just after a TV package, no BB or telephone. All entertainment channels but not interested in movies/sport.
best I can see atm is £31.50 per month with a free 2tb box and £100 of m&s vouchers.
Anything better out there?
Yup, as stated in here it's about weight of refrigerant and lube, not pressure. Pressure is a good indicator that there isn't a leak but not that the correct qty is actually in the system. Recover and refil is best option.
We bought a jvc hd camcorder last year for exactly the same purpose, it was from currys and cost about £180. Excellent. It of kit!
plenty to look at in that budget
Head gasket failure would be my guess with the info to hand. If its not leaking coolant it's going somewhere else so either out the exhaust or into the sump (or both!)
