I don't need to lol. With only 150 bhp and 120 ft lbs to carry that weight around. Even the book figures show it's lacking power.
Not saying it's not fun on da twisties. It may well be. I certainly wouldn't turn a drive in one down because I'd like to find out.
Mazda Mx-5s are fun. But...
I didn't say I had driven one?
Just read that article though, quite a good read thanks.
Would love to drive one and see what all the fuss is about to be honest.
Although I expect that people who do own them wouldn't take them anywhere near a track, which is where they're meant to shine...
Haha. I like the look of them. Apart from bits of the blue interior. Just seems such a shame about the power. Should have been the 2.0T surely with all the hype around it.
Is that article actually a good read? Need something to keep me busy.
I've just been through this entire thread again. All 22 pages. And looked at every single photo.
I know i've said it already a few times. But f**k me. What a car you've built yourself. Absolutely amazing and I am extremely jealous to be honest.
Mint is understatement. Proper credit to...
Seeing as you're too busy under the car thought I might as well add photos to this thread for you :)
George's new engine was timed up with help from Scott Phase1sr
Tourist days your car has to be road legal. If you're in an accident and your car is found out not to be then you're in big trouble.
I've seen them check tyres and send people away.
Keep it all near the factory settings if you're using it on the road. Maybe get some camber bolts and add a little more camber, but not too much otherwise you might notice an increase in tyre wear.
Nice to meet you again today mate. Actually gutted you didn't bring the ph1 down lol.
Sorry i had to shoot off. Did you guys spend much longer doing the timing?
Serious crash. No idea how he survived and actually climbed out like he did.

Cheers chaps. Mine are 450lbs all round from memory. Or maybe slightly more on the front. Can't remember what josh decided on for me when I ordered them. Need to get them fitted urgently just waiting on some bits back from my mate.
I did did wonder what this bit on mine was! Got any pictures...
Why do yours look so different to mine lol!!??
What spring rates did you go for?
I've got a plastic thing in between the spring and height adjuster on mine...
Just watching the Race 1 video now. Car is rapid!!
Spotted the moment with Ian behind you too hehe.
Although the video stops for me at 13:50 just after you lap the silver 206. Is this right or is it just my PC being crap?
