Yeah that's fair enough. I knew it would be about that going from mine as a guide and adding a few bhp on top for a cup. Which seem to usually be stronger.
Bet it goes well. Certainly looks good.
And there you were telling me you thought you'd only get 180 something haha.
Told you you'd crack 190 straight away didn't i ;)
Ahh I see. I thought you were just a friendly randomer lol sorry.
Your car ran pretty much what you said you were expecting didn't it.
You know what I had never...
Oh that was you! Nice to meet you.
I think it was too cold for my brain today. Wasn't able to put many names to faces!!
Whats's Jon's forum name? Saner?
Oh that was Kyle was it. People never end up looking like what you expect them to.
Think there was a ITBd one but that was before I arrived.
Saw quite a few low figures though.
The interior of a 996 is absolutely dreadful. Yes you'll get people saying "oh but it's miles better than a Clio blah blah blah". Fact is, for the price tag it carries it's shocking.
I'd keep the AMG unless I was getting a 997. Even a 997S or 4S over a 996.
Never heard of them myself so can't comment. But is there any reason why you want to take it there over the specialists mentioned, BTM or Diamond Motors??
Not read the whole thread, but I'd be getting the whole lot done now, as soon as possible. If your belt is over due it could snap at any minute.
I bought my 438 cams from K-Tec (£600 I think), I paid a specialist (MWM) to do a full cam belt change and fit the cams (£450), I then paid MWM for...
I might try to come along, but won't know if I can until a few days before..
Wouldn't be in the Clio anyway as that's in bits. Just the BMW, but wouldn't mind seeing how many ponies it actually has.
Be good just to watch other Clios achieve their numbers anyhow.
It depends on how the seat is mounted mate.
If it's side mounted then you'd need side mounts and a subframe obviously. With the option of sliders if you wanted them.
If it's base mounted. Like my current seats are. Then you can bolt them straight to the subframes, like I do. Again with the...
I'll drop them a line. They probably just buy it from the same place as Demon Tweaks though and sell on with a mark up ;P
Thanks, what about the brake lines too though?
I wasn't sure if the general 500x500 odd would be enough but now I know, cheers.
This is the place I'm looking at, they...
Does your bucket seat have a slider attached to it already?
If so just get some OMP subframes.
