It’s not looking good for this unfortunately. Been at diamond for 6 weeks and still no further forward. Mick has ordered another column in the hope that it’ll work but I’ll be very surprised if it’s third time lucky. if someone wants to make me an offer for breaking or an attempt to fix then...

Update from Mick - he thinks there is a short in the dash loom somewhere. Sounds like a right ball ache isolating and inspecting the loom sections.

Car is back at micks. All troubleshooting with Renault technical etc points to it needing a brand new steering column and ecu. Will cost about £1k 😭 Not sure it’s worth me fixing it or punting it on as it is and taking a bigger hit. Either way I think ive had enough so will probably be up for...

He had it on Clip but couldn’t communicate with the steering or get a reading hence saying it needed a new column

I already took it there and he told me to buy a new column which I did. It didn’t fix it so was told that it could be the ecu that needed recoding. So I did that and that didn’t fix it either. I’m gonna take it back to micks and just leave it with him to sort before I give up with it

New ecu didn’t work. I’m at a loss, checked all the fuses everything seems ok 🤷‍♂️

Might come along if the car is fixed 😂
