Yeah one amp mate, am not too bothered about keeping the extra charge for idle as i dont tend to blast my system that much but when i do im usually moving.

Im running this lot (see below) on the standard battery and its all good, yeah you get some slight dimming when the car is idling but thats about it.

Yeah i totally agree with you mate, a guy i know has a brand new Alpine F1 status head unit, around £700 worth and the sound it produces is incredible, probs something to do with the £700 dyne audio(sp) front components hes running.
I dont mean to be cheeky mate but how hard/fast have you been driving it? Because if a car is driven hard/fast for long periods of time it will use more oil than norma (someone correct me if im wrong).
Seen one lad is paying well over 2k to have a 182 at 20ish, im 20 and drive a 1.2 16v dynamique and i pay £930 a year fully comp my own policy and i think thats a bit on the steap side, id rather save for another year when ill have more money and 2 years NCB etc, its alot of money owning a car...
