Suppose the only way to tell mate is to get them off! Why someone would spend money on smoothing those onto the car is beyond me!

Personally I think you need to be looking into why the car has only done (if the mileage is correct) 2k miles a year. The car has the average mileage for a year old one. There's also a lot of other things you need to look out for. You need to check whether the belts etc have been done on it...
