You wouldn't call a sports car a 'fast road' car because it's obvious it's a road car. Term only needs to be used IMO when a car has visible modifications suitable for track driving but is still road legal? I'd call my Clio a 'fast road' car because it has plenty of visible mods (cage, buckets...

I've had this, the power cable to the alternator was lose and eventually sheered off. Temporarily bodged it but eventually needed a new battery and alternator.

Wont lock or wont close? If it wont close, try adjusting the latch. You can undo the screw and move it slightly. Worked for me when some tit went up my arse and pushed the floor in, the boot lock couldn't reach the latch so I did this and it was OK.

From memory it was just responsiveness.

REVO do one for the Audi DSG. Well they did 3 years ago when I was looking to get mine done. So I'm sure they'll do one for the 200T

Sounds like you have got it all covered then dude. But I'm sure the specialist you use will advise you what else you could do whilst there and what is probably needed. Maybe steering rack bushes or similar.

Maybe the water pump. The specialist you chose might be able to advice you if it's likely to be on its way out or not. Specialists near you I've used are Micheal Woodford Motrposrt up in Staines and Matt at CodeRed Motorsport in Tunbridge Wells. Both great guys that know their stuff!

Depends what you want the car for. If it's a track day toy then get a 172 cup or Ph1. If it's a road car then get a 182 Full Fat (which means with both cup packs) because this has a few more luxuries.

I've never torqued my wheels nuts and I've never had any problems with bolts. I just test them by hand a few times per trackday. ​

My MOT mate has told that Xenons have to have self levelling and washers from memory.

Never heard of it.

Mine was just the springs, not shrink wrap, no paperwork. Just a box taped shut with red shiny springs inside.

I think the 1 series looks good with a soft top. One of very few soft top cars I like the look of with the roof up. But then again I am biased now. The 3 series convertible just looks toooooooooo long. I really can't get on with how it looks with the roof down. Like it's been stretched...

I didn't mean one the road! I think I'm the slowest road driver known to man. I was talking of a comparison from when I used my standard wheels on track before I got a set of track wheels with R888s. I'd be after tyres for track only, they'd never see the road.
