Cambelt - Anything else whilst there?

Looking to book a Clio trophy in for a cambelt kit, aux belt kit, dephaser, oil and filter. Is there anything else worth doing whilst there, i,e engine mounts etc?

Also i'm located in Surrey and would need the work to be done on a weekend (need the car for work during the week unless a courtesy car can be provided), where would be the best place to go?

Maybe the water pump. The specialist you chose might be able to advice you if it's likely to be on its way out or not.

Specialists near you I've used are Micheal Woodford Motrposrt up in Staines and Matt at CodeRed Motorsport in Tunbridge Wells.

Both great guys that know their stuff!

Just to add, water pump has been done already and have read they rarely prone to failure. Spark plugs have been done reecently too.

Sounds like you have got it all covered then dude. But I'm sure the specialist you use will advise you what else you could do whilst there and what is probably needed. Maybe steering rack bushes or similar.

Water pump is the only obvious choice for doing at the same time.

Another vote here for Mike and James, they can meet you at their office in staines too to get the car off you I believe, so at least then you have a
town centre to kill time in while they are working on it.
