Agree with Spirez. The blu ray drive isnt just a massive storage device. It has brought on the advent on Hi Def movies which ARE a step in the quality stakes!

If you just want to view pictures and not edit them in anyway the quickest method is Windows Picture Preview and Viewer. Comes built into XP. Has basic functions like zoom and rotate and more importantly loads very quickly.
