The 3M is and always has been the best one on the market mate. It's not cheap. I think I have a spare one somewhere. Have a look at most detailers andvtheir machines havevthe 3m one. Still crazy they never took over the 75mm market.

I wouldn't bother with EGP mate. Blackhole then AG HD 2x panels at a time depending on heat and conditions.

Glazing is fine with most pads mate. Blue, Red, Black all quite soft. So you have hex Red and Black?

It's nearly £300 a month to insure a 10 year old Clio. Just think about that for a second.

But he's not an amazing car. If he was driving a 182 or 172 I could maybe understand but what's the real difference between a nice cheap puddle jumper and a 1.4 Clio? Nothing except pissing insurance money up against the wall. I just don't see how it makes sense at all.

Well a good thing is to head up the grades. So maybe 1500 then 2000 then 2500 and get some aggressive hand polish or something. Got someone local with a polisher?

That's not going to happen mate. I know headlights are easily done but imo it won't leave a good enough finish.

It really just depends mate, DA and Rotary work with glazes on the right pad. I love showing people what can be done. Glazes and filling imo are still underrated. When doing other people cars pure correction is more important obviously but you can't polish a car forever if you know what I mean.
