At a guess it would be down to the experience buying the car. Let's assume. And assume only. The car, spec, price was spot on. Loved it. Search over. Just to be sure he wanted to get the car double checked. Maybe the 'buying' experience prempted that decision.

Maybe he didn't feel comfortable for ktec to diagnose the issue. A fault was then found. Ktec didn't have time to look at fixing it and wanted to refund...
