God it's F**king addictive!!!!!!!! I've only had the car 5 months now. Already I've spent £1700 quid on it, just on little upgrades.
Still have loads more in a basket on the K-tec site and I still haven't even started with the engine yet.
I get excited thinking of doing the next bits and...
Fumes from where? No more than if I had my windows open surely? It's not as if the exhaust is pointing up towards the under side of the car.
I just cant deal with the noise it's been making
Haha oh ok. thanks. Think I'll put it back then :S
Is the leather flap actually needed though? For example if I was to tie it back. It's making a very annoying noise!
Thinking about it again. I'd assume it doesn't matter, the whole is still there to let pressure out if need be?
It was in the lower boot lining (ish). It was rattling like a B*tch so I took it out. I am just interested to find out what it's for. Looks like some kind of air vent with a flap.
Cheers
The guy that fitted mine just used new brand new Renault brackets. It works good and sits very well. If they don't last long then I'll look into upgraded options.
Can you give me more details please mate? I don't get how they can not fit perfectly if they are supposed to be car specific. I was planning on buying some of these but now I've been a little put off!
Welcome, that looks extremely low on the back. I'm assuming there was something heavy in the boot?
I'm no expert but from what I understand a dephaser is unlikely to ever fail your engine, it will just get louder and louder to the point you can't bare it and change it anyway. If I am wrong I...
I saw mate thanks, however don't really fancy buying something that doesn't even fit right etc. Was hoping they would be a direct fit with no bodge job needed
