Im enjoying it more than the cup but that's probably because I'm 'doing' (or at least paying!) for stuff to be done on it which tends to keep me interested.

Oh yeah, brake pipes and a bit of welding so not the end of the world. I've got until September to sort it so keeps me interested!

I'll second that - my cup feels like a Bentley after driving the Rallye but (at the moment) I'd take it over the cup all day long.

It's pretty torquey - seems a lot more progressive through the revs than the clio as you don't get the 5k kick as such. Mine has a c2 box with the final drive from a s1 Rallye in so makes it very rev happy in 5th! Good for performance - not so good for economical long runs....

The new alternator and power steering pump have been fitted. I went out for a spin in it today and absolutely loved it, really raw and felt quick.

Dials are all reading high. That speed was actually about 70mph.

Put the car sears in and you'll just get a 'couldn't test seatbelt due to presence of car seat' advisory.

The one in garforth, leeds is quite highly regarded. That work is unacceptable - well done for getting your money back.

Saw some dude properly on it at the wishing well roundabout the other day in something like this. I couldn't say it was the same as yours but was DEFINATELY a skyline. He must've been tickling three figures in the 40 zone.
