For the money I’d still punt on the lcr 225. I drove a mapped one and couldn’t stop smiling.

If I was that way. I’d look to have the same set up that was in the flamer. Relocate the battery and have the bend as straight as poss. @bloke is that an ass to do? Not tinkered with the car for aaagggggeeeesss.

Had a 225 Trophy for a few months. Was okay, felt more grown up, handling seemed good. Yeah a nice enough allrounder. If i was to have another it would have to be modified/mapped.

Doors are an easy fix though? Great cars and under 100k seems rare. Not saying higher mileage ones don’t last but when I looked sub 100k didn’t come along often.

Yeah round bends I’d expect it to be similar like you say. Only ever driven a 1.8t clio thing and by Christ that went quickly In a straight line. Had no pas so was an ass to drive. It was actually @cs_dave old clio before he owned it

It does depend who does the job which I guess is a given. Not read many great stories with regards reliable etc. Fast, for sure.

They are definitely not a comfortable car, not a motorway muncher, but then not designed to be. In the right mood a riot.
