First track day of the year for the Clio and out to Castle Combe with Javelin. This was my first track day with the meg 280 turbo conversion and it did not disappoint. The car was pretty faultless all day, smashing in lap after lap. The day started foggy and damp, with a delayed start due to...
Still not received the replacement gaz shocks but the "bodge" is working perfectly tbh. I "adjusted" the rear ride height after a few miles use. Loving how it rides now. Took it for a run out to Hereford to a little Sunday morning coffee meet up. Had a very spirited drive home.... alignment and...
Ended up getting into an impromptu cleaning session on the car. I'm not too prissy with it, I hate cleaning cars and through the winter I do just smash it through the local scratch and spin. This is followed by a spring time touch up and correction with a polisher. Took it to the local car wash...

Will give it some more use then get everything aligned
Finally got around to doing the battery relocation. Renault have left a nice route to get the cable in to the boot. Found a half decent bracket on ebay and went at it. Only major issue was the battery monitoring system for the smart charging setup but got around that. Now I've got bags of room...
Insurance time again. Not as cheap as usual but adding in the engine swap bumped it a little. Still through Lancaster insurance as a broker. Mods declared, SDPC, 5k miles and 2 x sp30s for £144.
I did try a few others, tried that new custodian insurance but they came in at nearly double
