Maybe people are getting confused between 595 RSR's and normal 595's? I had the 595 road tyres and they're great for daily use, but got shredded on a track day, but they are cheap and meant for normal driving. Then you've got the proper 595 RSR semi slicks which cost a bit more because...

My Mum's Mk1 was the same colour, Canary yellow, I was taken to school in it for years. I really love Mk1's they look amazing, the mad thing is at the time they were everywhere so they everyone just thought 'meh'. I'll just leave this here. :o

I know you probably don't feel very lucky, but the fact that it's only going to cost you a wheel, tyre and one strut is a miracle, could have easily written your car off.
