The broken alternator bracket had rattled so much it had smashed the air con pump to f*ck, so it was entirely ornamental and needed to come out. It's in the best condition it's ever been, car feels like new now. :cool:

Yep all done, alternator + new bracket, both belts, dephaser, water pump, injectors, HT leads, sump gasket, it does rev better with the delete kit and it seems to unload a hell of a lot faster in first and second, tomorrow will be it's first proper run after being reborn. :D Will be interesting...

It'll still be soft after an hour even if it is dry, it's incredibly easy to put a thumb print on them or scratch them with your nails, i'd leave it over night if I was you.

I've always liked those wheels, I think they really suit the ph2 Clio, i'd love to see what the looked like in anthracite on an Iceburg, sadly no-one's ever done it, so I guess it's left up to me to do.

Have you bought a licence from Fastchip to get the unit unlocked? Second hand ones are locked to the original owners car and won't work on any other.
