I had some little git come up to me once and said "here mate you wanna get lockers on them wheels else someone might do the off with them"
I thanked him for his advice and walked off. When I returned to the car, there he was with another of his mates, checking out the wheel nuts, wheel brace...

I use Tesco for both the Williams and the Shogun. And you have to be over 25 to drive other cars TP only.
I have not had to claim from them, but they were a little slow on the uptake when insuring the Shogun, as they cocked the payment up the first time round. But its sorted now.

Am I the only one that thinks that that car looks hideous on those wheels? Probably am I spose, but cant u lot see that those wheels are far to big for that small car. It at least needs lowering to help its appearance a bit.
Jilly, and anyone else about to jump on me, its my opinion OK...

Oh and in answer to your question, it is hardly acceptable that a 19,000kms engine blows is it? But as if thats not bad enough, they cant fix it for over a month....so no, not acceptable.
These things do happen, as Im sure you know, but it really is down to the manufacturer to right the...
You would receive worse service than that if it were over here!
It would appear that youre not the only one with rods flying out of places they shouldnt. There has been atleast one other guy on this board with it recently, as well as a couple of others I have heard about. Joe suggested a...

It will be quite expensive. The recon alternators are about 80-100 quid from a factors and whoever takes the job on will regret it as its a total arse.
Looking at probably couple of hundred all in.

My private plate is incorrectly spaced and I have not had any toruble with it in over a year of having it on my 19 or the clio. And Ive been followed numerous times by coppers. Dont worry about it.
Nick your spot on. The DVLA sell plates the need to be spaced incorectly at a premium.

My Shogun can be a bit of a blast to drive. It too is easy to get the arse out in rear wheel drive and control it....must look impressive, coming around a roundabout in a shogun with its arse hanging out :-) Switch to four wheel drive, and its handling is almost impressive. Bit too much tool...

Daipac, you hit the nail on the head when you said it puts everything else into perspective.
I was confronted today by a knob in a transit van who was driving like a lunatic as I pulled out on him cos I thought he was leting me out. Turns out he wasnt and then played silly buggers before...
