Back after 574 mile round trip. No issues at all epic weekend.
@JamesBryan tools straight in the trackday box 😁
Track was great had loads of seat time and went through a tank of fuel in both. Perfect amount of cars on track.
I would have needed to rotate tyres on both if id done a full day...
Epic day and good to catch up with everybody. Thanks to everybody who made it happen.
Full send in the Extra and Megane, no dramas bar ns front tyre has suffered. Succesful day.
Just luring everybody into a false sense of security ;) fresh rubber, good brakes for the first time ever so should be good to make a bit of progress aslong as nothing falls off/breaks/does french s**t and fails to commence
Mrs not driving this time, she doesnt hang about
Updates
Quick clean up this morning and checked fluids before CSF. Fill up and good to go. Looking forward to trying out the Ar1, see what its like on fresh semi slicks.
You need proper diagnostics to see why the light is actually coming on, eml could be on due to fuelling issue flagging up lambda, not actual lambda fault. Cat might be knackered etc.
Just had a reckon up on journey time and 4h20 for me. Depending on traffic prob be 6 hours with stops.
Bring on the noise from the side exit exhaust on the tunnels on the a55.
Rideheight a bit low maybe? I run mine on stock top mounts and doesnt knock. I assume internal bumpstop with the monotube design.
Used to get similar knocking on the saxos with monotube bilsteins years ago when too low/run out of travel.
Apparantly the MMT in the octane booster does it. First time i had one out to see the evidence.
Smoke machine is mega wish i had invested years ago. I used to pressure the boost circuit up but still difficult to pinpoint small leaks. Can see the smoke straight away.
Sat updates.
Treated it to a new set of plugs as not changed them for years. Old ones were still around 0.7mm gap when checked so wasnt really necessary but at £3 a plug for ngk bcr8es its not hurting.
Brown tinge from MMT in VP racing octanium octane booster i have used in the past.
Next on...
