Star City Sunday 29th Jan 14:00

What time you thinking 1pm? Gives us plenty of time to get to Star City without getting done by any of the M6 speed cameras, and gives anyone else time to get to Tescos aswell.

Sure mate i'm up for that, how about meeting at Tescos car park by the Ricoh arena? It's right next to the M6.

    Hi All

Alright Boyo. ;) There's a big meet this Sunday at Star City Birmingham if you fancy meeting a few people, and checking out some cars, meeting at 2pm and then a bit of food at Nandos. Don't worry about not knowing anyone, loads of people going won't know anyone either including me.

    130mph Shelby Cobra crash

I'd be crying if I wrecked an original Shelby Cobra, although i'd be glad the car took all the damage and not me.

Am I the only 16 year old on here?

Ah right, by the time you pass your test doing all the grease monkey stuff will be second nature, that'll save you a few quid. :D

Am I the only 16 year old on here?

Good man you sound fiesty I like that, don't let the big boys push you around and you'll be alright. ;) Also you didn't answer my original question, how long until you can start driving lessons and get into a Clio?

    Hit a Fox

Haha no, not with a large German Sheperd, nothing goes in my garden without him knowing about it, i've been quite lucky so far, nothing more than a cat has stepped out in front of my car and i've managed to miss them all so far. I've seen a few lads at meets with badger sized holes in their...

    Hit a Fox

I drive down that road almost every day, I saw a dead fox next to a barrier the other day, only one on the road from Stratford to Cov and I did think 'that wasn't there yesterday' I wouldn't be surprised if it was the one you hit, it was pretty big aswell, like a medium sized dog.

Don't worry, if you want to see the definition of filthy then take a look at the inside of my car, pure dog kennel. :o Oh and you can stick me on the list for food Donny, i'm pretty sure I won't be working Sunday.

    Being 30 and in a 182

The only reason Clios are seen as a chavvy is because 1*2s have fallen in to your average bellends price range, give it a year or two and they'll have moved on to something else, when I was a teenager every dickhead wanted an XR2, XR3i, RS Turbo or Cosworth and now decent examples of these go...

He's gone offline sharpish, he probably thinks this is some kind of paedo grooming site in disguise. lol

Star City Sunday 29th Jan 14:00

I usually work weekends so I never get to go to meets, but at the moment it looks like I won't be working on the 29th, so hopefully i'll be making this one. :D I've never been to a Nandos before, how much is it for a plate of food?

    Being 30 and in a 182

I'm 36 and i've had Golfs, Astras and all sorts of other 'sensible' cars and they all bored the hell out of me. The nicest car I ever owned was a Golf GT TDI 4motion with leather interior, CD multichanger, cruise control etc and I was bored with it after 3 months and that's been the case with...

    Rear Shocks

When I first got my 172 the rears were knackered, but the seller gave me a nearly new set off a 182 first thing I did was change them with absolutely zero mechanical knowlege. All you need to change the backs is a jack and a socket set, so easy to do.

    My LY 200

Ohh that's rather nice, good number plate aswell.

    172 looking for ideas....

That backbox is anything but sublte mate, ruins the backend of the car imo, it needs to go. Other than that your car's very tidy. :approve:

    Nice cars, dog dirty!

My dog's cleaner than my car as most of the sh*t he gets covered in ends up inside my car. :S I do clean mine, just not very often as it'll just get covered in crap again almost instantly........and i'm lazy.

    Nice cars, dog dirty!

Doesn't bother me tbh, but then again my 172's permanently covered in sh*te on the outside, dog hair and mud on the inside and isn't worth more than £2.5k. I might feel different if I had a car that was worth good money that I planned on reselling at some point.

    Crazy Saudi b******s!!!!!

Tut tut tut, what would Alah say? :nono: Although to be fair after a day spent doing that it would be nice to chill out with a few beers, a couple of joints and a nice hog roast barbeque. Oh wait......

Wick’s CS story so far (serious essay content, you have been warned!)

You're doing better than me mate, even when mine's clean you have to stand about 6ft away from it for it to look good. For the alloys to look good you need to stand on the other side of the road. :S

Wick’s CS story so far (serious essay content, you have been warned!)

Very nice example, that really is shiny. Fair play, you obviously put alot of effort in your car and it shows. I've come to realise that i'm very lazy, I never wash my car untill the dirt's an inch thick, although I suspect mine will never look as good as many on here.

    Lane discipline, lack of...

People wandering aimlessly from lane to lane is normal practice in Coventry, it doesn't help that Stevie Wonder paints the lanes on all the roundabouts in this city, none of them ever really take you in the direction you were expecting. If you asume everyone's clueless and is a few seconds from...
