Dephaser pully mate, when it needs replacing it makes the car sound like an old diesel engine.

Cheers mate that would be cool, and your right I just want some better speakers and a bit more bass, tbh it's clarity of sound at a higher volume I want, as I might get a sub at a later date for more of a kick, but nothing chavtastic. A straight speaker swap sounds right up my street!

I wonder why the Kenwood one is more expensive for lower wattage, paying for the name? I literally have no clue about car speakers whatsoever, other than the clio has 13cm speakers.

^^How much is that? I'm in the same boat as you, I want better speakers and some more bass, but I don't want to spend a fortune, carry around loads of weight in the boot or rattle my fillings out. All the threads i've read have just confused me more.:S

^^^This. Get an RSTuner Fastchip remap, that'll sort out your cold start issues and give the car a bit more go lower down the rev range, decent exhaust and some decent springs from the for sale section and leave it at that. Then upgrade as you go, like braided steel brake lines, better...

About 2:30pm today in Halfords car park Foleshill Rd Coventry. As I came out of Halfords in the car park there was a Dark Blue Ph2 172, and a Dark Blue Valver with a tow strap on the front. No idea if there on here, but worth a try.
