Just need a question answered.
How do people with aftermarket steering wheels pass MOTs?
I thought you needed a working horn and all the ones i've seen fitted
to peoples cars don't have one?
You can get brand new rear light clusters from Euro Car Parts for £30.49 each,
there not made by renault but there pretty much identical.
I needed a new one last December for my MOT although it was £25,
so the ba*tards have put the price up.
Sounds like a plan, you can't really go wrong with black leather and a few red trim highlites,
imagine how p1ssed off you'd be if you retrimed it in red and diddn't like it.
Fair enough.... i'm just a bit envious that you've got a black & gold while i've got a boring old iceburg,
although when I refurb my 172 wheels i'm doing them the same colour as yours,
so I must thank you for that as i'd almost given up on finding a shade of grey I liked.
I think the yellow looks fine mate, although I think you should do something with the side bullets,
maybe spray them black or the same grey as your wheels and highlite the numbers in yellow.
Would finish off the theme you've got going.
Although if it was mine it would be all black, wheels...
Nice car Darci, and the photo location is pretty cool aswell.
How you finding the Brembos?
Whenever I was in my mates R27 I damn near headbutted the windsreen every time he braked hard.
You can post pics a number of ways, when your writing a post you can hit the insert image icon and upload them from
your hard drive or photobucket or whatever online album your useing.
What I tend to do is open them in photobucket and just copy & paste them directly into the post i'm writing...
JESUS! Your gonna be popular with a profile pic like that!
Be prepared for some immature comments from lads that couldn't pull a pint, let alone your fine self.;)
Well done on getting a 197, hot girls with fast cars are always cool.
I've just moved mine away from the intake hole, jammed it up by the battery so it doesn't get in the way of the air coming in through the grill. I do plan on removing the acoustic valve just aint got round to it yet.
Cheers for that, thats pretty intensive but i'm guessing it's the only way of doing it.
My wheels are gonna need professional refurbing as the rims are not in good shape,
so I don't think re-spraying them is an option for me at the moment.
Thanks anyway for the link.
I need a bit of advice on re-spraying my 172 alloys.
There not in the best nick, there curbed and the surface is blistering in
places, I don't need them to look like a show car and I don't want to
spend a week having a detailing w*nk over them, I just want to spray
them a different colour...
WTF! I have no idea how a picture of a defender turned into a Corvette.:S
But this was the original picture....lets see if this turns into another car.
There slow, unstable on normal roads, expensive to run, agricultural with no comfort of any kind
unless you but a modern one that'll cost a fortune.
But there still cool as f*ck!
I've got GCSEs, A-Levels and a BA Hons in photography and none of them prepared me for trying to make a living out of photography,
i've met amatuers with far more technical knowlegde than me but no natural talent, and i've met professionals that know very little but make a bloody fortune...
The JMS induction setup is the V6 airbox, ive got one it's pretty good.
Although there's nothing wrong with the standard setup and a Pipercross/K-tec panel filter (there both the same)
Theres also the 172 ph1 airbox it has two smaller intakes over the one large one on the V6.
I diddn't, I just jacked the car up as high as I could, some peolpe jack it up over a curb or a step to
get extra room, you just need it high enough to get a srewdriver or drill under it.
