it fits fine, don't forget that your new centre section is a larger diameter than the oem one.

    RS Tuner Initial Review

had exactly the same happen to mine, when I had the cal file loaded that stopped the climate control working. No problems since installing the correct cal file I got from henk. I suggest you restore your backup cal file until you get the correct one.

    RS Tuner Initial Review

had the problem with cruise control on mine. I emailed my backup .cal file to henk and got 7300_5410_RON98_1.cal by email the following day. This fixed everything :)

Whats involved with running a forum - Techy

depends on what you're doing. I run a small closed forum (archery club members) with Snitz, but if it was for an open public forum I'd pay for Vbulletin.

I normally average 36 to 38 mpg with a mix of driving ( don't do much town driving tho' ). Motorways trips always over 40mpg.

    RS Tuner kit.....easy??

if you can manage to post on a forum, you'll manage loading a RStuner calibration file ( map ). It really is very very easy, maybe too easy. Just be confident you've made your backups first.

Stealth - KTec, Yozza or GDI

I got a Yozza stealth a couple of weeks ago after my renault backbox made a bid for freedom, and am very pleased with it. Andrew got it out to me next day, It looks well made, and was easy to fit ( I've never fitted an exhaust before ). It sounds different to standard but not louder, the note...

    Goodyear review against Michelin

"smoother and quieter" than PE2's :( That's disappointing I'm using Goodyear's Eagle F1's now, and was planning on changing to PE2's next time as while i find the Goodyears are great when playing on the b-roads, but they are way too rough and noisy while cruising on the motorway. If PE's are...

Renault just told me its an Import

you can get the standard renault alarm fitted by a dealer, IIRC it cost about 270 at my local renault dealer. My Import has the same Alarm, locking wheel nuts, and etched glass as any UK spec car.

is it worth protecting ncb ?

yes, but what they do is knock a couple of years off their max discount rate. So for example when I had 9 years NCB and made a claim, come renewal time I had 3 years NCB ( 2 years off their 5 year max ). This reduced my NCB discount from 60% to 40%, increasing the renewal premium from 800 to...

    insurance for 172 registered 2004??

My 172 was also first registered in early 2004, however like yours it will be a 2003 model that didn't get sold until 2004. I just select 2003 as the model year when getting insurance quotes, it's never given me a problem even when I made a claim last year.

proper check to see if my 172 is import

I don't think you can tell an import by spec. my 03 172 is an Import - it has locking wheel nuts, etched windows, and the same alarm as a genuine UK car. The only real give away is the "Direction Ventes Speciales Exportation" stamp in the front of the service record booklet.
