Dont have the funds available for a PC. Have the PS2 and a PC at home so just wanted to drop the PS2 into the car more for DVD's than anything else for the kids when on journeys! LOL (That should shut em up!)
Quick question (I know its already been done and tested etc etc but I can only find a guide for the 172)
I just want to know when I take the dash off will the passenger airbag be effected as it looks like this is part of the upper dash? Is there anything special that I need to do in order to...
Only please I know of thats relly good is on the outskirts of Blackheath towards Cradley Heath. They are a small bodyshop but great on quaity and price. When I had my RS they resprayed the whole car two tone perfectly without a flaw and the price was very reasonable.
I think its called A & K...
Whats your set up mate? Ive seen a normal ps2 in there before and was under the impression that a slimline one would not fit due to the way the tray opens?
where is your screen and what make / model is it? Also how did you physically install the system? Did you hardwire it into the car?
It cant really go under the passenger seat as I have the tray there and the drivers seat has the changer under it. Besides I carry my partner around a lot and it wouldnt last 5 mins! LOL
Any advice on the TV screen guys. Im just looking for something that can be consealed away but...
simple answer is no. Get a lower priced car ride it for a few years for the ncb and then have your dream car unless you have loads of money and then I say why the hell not! LOL
yeah just push it in you will 'feel' a click and then pull gently. It should then release. Just to lengths of wire possible about 8 inches in length bent in half to make the adapter. As said before a wire coat hanger is the easiest thing to use.
I fitted one in my megane when I had it and it was poo. When the vents got hot from the heat it melted the glue and it kept peeling away. Wouldnt bother mate. Take the parts out manually and spray them and give em a good coat of laquer and spend a lot of time on the prep.
You can buy an adapter from halfrauds for approx £5 but a wire coat hanger does the job. You need to make 2 adapters (1 for each side of the unit) Make a u shape with the coat hanger wire and put it in all four holes at once. It should just pop out then. With regard to fitting he sterio you will...
Hi I want to fit a ps2 in my glovebox and wondered what options I have. I know its got to be converted to 12v etc etc. How would I secure it and is it possible to mount a screen on top of it that comes out the glove box?
Any suggestions and or recommendations would be greatly appreciatted...
Im 24 with 4 year ncb and a few basic mods on a 182. Went with Privilage and it was £820 ish from memory fully comp. Cant seem to get it cheaper. I tried all the performance companies and no one came near.
Hi there. I have a 182 and have a horrible rattle when the drivers side sun visor is down. The other problem is that sometimes when I change gear from 1st the 2nd then from 2nd to third I get a wirring noise from the gearstick. It also happens sometimes when I put it in reverse.
Its been into...
Hi ive bought a standard alpine CD changer that goes in the 182's under the seat. I have routed all the wiring however im not sure how to mount it under the drivers seat.
It has been suggested to me to remove the driver seat so that I can screw the bracket down - however would this not result...
Should last longer than 6 months! Unless the monkeys at renault put it on wrong to start with and somehow buggered it. They are designed to last for years and years. Id expect 8 - 10 years out of it easily.
It has a dual nos kit on it. without the nos i dont know what the bhp is but with it it come to 630 according to this graph that was given me with the car.
I know all the bulkheads etc have been strengthened for the extra power and i believe its a supercharger not a turbo fitted but yes it is...
