For those that have relocated their batteries..

Just make a fresh earth point mate and make sure the metal is clean. Mines earthed out in the thread for the passenger side seat belt and I have no issues. The size of the cable will also have a big impact on the cranking speed.

Annoyingly this mention didn't alert me to this! Got there in the end though. Lol

    Chris's 172 Cup Turbo

Your issue is that you're running 280's mate. On a cup turini the spokes are fatter at the base, so this means that because the caliper is sitting lower it interferes with your spokes. Make sense? I'll be running 295's and my turinis are now very close to the spokes - on 300's there's plenty...

Epas conversion, dci rack but which inner control arms?

If you can measure the dci ones you've got now, I'll measure up the 2 172 steering rods that I've got mate. That way we will know 100% which ones you need.

No mate it's at the back of the gearbox nearer to the bellhousing.

    Power Steering Fluid

Yeah definitely worth replacing mate. Power steering fluid goes through a lot of heat cycles and breaks down over time.
  19. NorthloopCup

    Coil pack wiring

Yeah and more than likely the Earth at the gearbox is the culprit as that's the main one for the ecu.

    Coil pack wiring

Yeah that's the only thing it can be tbh mate.

    The £600 Cup Track Build

Please tell me that's not electricians tape!! f**king awful stuff!
  28. NorthloopCup

    Coil pack wiring

You need to have the coil pack plug and the ecu plug disconnected mate.
  29. NorthloopCup

    Coil pack wiring

No problem! The 2 smaller wires go direct to the ecu mate, so checking them for continuity only indicates a 100% break or not. Resistance indicates a broken wire that's got corrosion. You can also check for resistance to chassis earth if you have to get more involved, but I don't think you'll...
