Could be a blocked/collapsed cat. Could be a number of things.. get the codes read. Where are you based ?

Give the calipers a service... maybe they're not as free as they should be. Never replaced discs due to rust.. it's a bare surface of metal every time you brake (in theory)... they get surface rust after a rain shower. Old Scoob sat for 3+ months.. clutch had rusted itself engaged... brakes...

Have you considered asking the garage what the cost will be ?!

Not at all or as above, won't care. Family could be 3 generations up and down or sideways, whatever. Students all over the country, Dad away on business, Mum might not switch on WiFi at home or Gran's house. Perfectly acceptable.

Depends how much you want to spend and what you want to do with it. 10-20 and a 30mm f/1.4 are about all I ever use in normal life. Been doing some work related toggin' this week, decent lights and a tripod and shooting at f/10+ so a ''fast" lense is irrelevant. I would say my 30mm is an all...

The Senns, and the equivalent Bose fold up and come with a case. I use them daily, in the office, sometimes at home, and as above, on flights they are worth their weight in gold. Pop into a John Lewis or somewhere like that and have a listen...

It (should) tell you every time you start up that the oil is OK / not OK ?! Maybe on the 182s you need to press the stalk once after it starts.. can't remember....

Could be numerous things, as above. Blocked cat for instance could possibly cause that. Is it going through coolant quicker than fuel - if so, HG could be the cause. Mayo under the cap is a standard thing with those engines IIRC. Get to a garage and get it checked properly.

Assume you can't go outside and along the external wall ? Just a bit of cable-trunking along the lowest extremities ? It won't look thaaaat bad along the top of the skirting ?! Can you replace the skirting with some hollow stuff ?
