Iv owned a 2.0 mk1 and 2.0 mk2 and both have been sound cars that served me well!!! Theres better similar cars out there (most at more cost) but theres more that are worse i can assure you.

See what your saying mate but there is a possibilty that like me, she would still want a nice car rather than an old rust bucket to run into the ground. Think doing plenty of miles the petrol and running costs of the 182 would criple more than that od a good diesel.
