Clio 172 cup or 182...will it work?

Needs belts soon and faceplant coilovers will be awful... If it's a grand..... Meh. I'd rather spend 2 on a decent one. Don't get hung up on miles either.

Clio 172 cup or 182...will it work?

If I were to buy one as a daily, I'd get a 182. Climate, decent lights and cruise. Job done. Will you notice the benefit of no ABS / cloth seats and a weight-saving of a morning-dump driving up the Motorway every day ? No. Will you on a track !? No, I don't think so personally. If it's...

Semi slick , too grippy for road use ?

Yes. You want grippy tyres that don't provide grip ? Go book a track day if you want to explore the limits properly. Buy some cheap LingLong Supergrip 2000s if you want tyres that dont grip and you might crash into a hedge at the first time attempt to gonround a corner.

Semi slick , too grippy for road use ?

They are rain tyres dude. The compound is immense.. Next time you're down, and it's wet - I'll see if I lose you before the A127 again yeah ? Cool.

Semi slick , too grippy for road use ?

What answer were you looking for ? They will be fine. I run R1R on the road on my Clio. Good in the dry and great in the wet. I can't say I've ever thought I have too much grip ?!

    OnePlus 2 - Announced

So what do you think compared to the 'One' ? If I can get a 'Two' and flog my One to CEx or on here for £150.. I'd be tempted but I'm not seeing a huge jump in tech ? Think this might be a skip-a-generation job for me TBH.

Best way to loose cup weight

180kg ?!? That'll make a huge difference. Taking <50kg out of a standard car like I did is less than 5%. Atmospheric conditions and height above sea level will make more difference than that.

Best way to loose cup weight

Evo tested a 172 of some sort (might be ph1?) At 6.5 iirc. It's all pub talk and let's face it, absolutely pointless. Time and money would be better spent getting tuition on track than losing things. I only took rear seats out of mine as it meant a better load space for wheels to track days...

Best way to loose cup weight

No taking wheels or brakes off. That's cheating.

Best way to loose cup weight

So another 120kgs out and you'll be doing 5 second 0-60s ? Lolz.

Michelin PS3 vs Dunlop Sport BluResponse

The problem with that is for the 98% of the time when you're being responsible / normal driving.. you want the extra grip. Buy a pair of 5" wide steelies (Clio ones should fit) to glue to the back end with some WangDerpers on if you want to experience zero-G cornering. 50p says you'll be bored...

Michelin PS3 vs Dunlop Sport BluResponse

If it was for a Micra, and it was £200 eco vs £400 ps3s .. I'd probably go cheaper. For £30 extra, on a RWD car .. it's a no brainer to me.

Michelin PS3 vs Dunlop Sport BluResponse

A decent all rounder or an 'eco' tyre ? Like comparing an Elise with a Prius. Do you want an extra 0.8mpg or do you want grip ?

iPhone 5s > One Plus One

How much you want for the 5S ? Girl at work can only read about the top 10% of her screen as it's beyond f**ked. Brand new 64GB OPO is £220 .. just buy a new one with a warranty or wait for the 'Two' to come out soon ? Looks like the 2 might be out next year .. so, OPO it is.

    OnePlus 2 - Announced

This doesn't do much for me. Unless they're being nuggets and not pushing software update to the Ones.. I only bought mine at Xmas. Half price phones are fine but I'm not upgrading every 9 months. This looks exactly the same and other than some tweaks which look to be 10% better.... Just buy a...
