    RENAULTsport Clio Cup 172.....

LOL, the mythical renaultsport parts. More chance of a blowie off the pope than seeing them attached to a car (Aftermarket additions accepted)

    Renault build quality getting worse

In the quest for cheaper, lighter and more economical cars. Your bound to get Cheraper, Crapper and thinner parts. You should strip it all out anyway!

    Washing you other half’s car...

Equality. Get the women out there washing yours, but i guarantee that a supermarket monkey crew of washers would do a better job.

i cant decide on 172 or 172 cup...

Std 172 it is then. If you come across some cash in the future, buy some coilovers and you have a car that will handle better than a cup

    What price for a cup

£8K is great if you want to get rid of it quick. Autotrader have the same model/age/spec for £8-10K. Your decision, but i would start at £8.5 so you have some room to bargain <A target=_blank href=...

    172 cup vs Williams

Money says this will make 10 pages! Different cars, different eras. Both are very good cars and considering the willy is 13 odd years old they do pretty well. Would prefer a williams if it was only for a track and not a daily runner. On the Road it would be the cup

Bad luck mate. Got a 8" scrape on my spare now after not paying attention and catching a wheel on a angled curb. If it was normal i would have got away with it.....

Renault Mechanic f**ked my New Tyres

Just to rehash an already well used theme, To flat spot a tyre he must have been wellying it around. At least theyve admited it and replaced the parts. Also, from the guys point of view its probably gone on his record. It might affect his future and promotion prospects at the dealership

    Main Dealer Service

£300 for a £10 oilfilter, £30s worth of oil and a £10 air fliter. So £50 in parts, and £250 on labour/oil disposal and a car wash! Day light robbery
  25. blink172

    Main Dealer Service

i supplied my own oil, and have an ITG filter. So they only thing that needed replacing by renault was my pristine paint work for a swirly watermarked mess and oil filter. They had worked out the it would be £140ish but when i came to pay for it the women said ooh, you provided your own oil...
  26. blink172

    Main Dealer Service

Mate, thats extortionate. Mine cost £118 but i got lucky. A normal service that you dont supply your own stuff was only £170, where are you based?
  27. blink172

    Main Dealer Service

Oil, Oil filter and air filter. Not bad for £150-£200 i think youd agree:@ You will only void it if you dont use genuine Renault parts, you also lose the FRSH when selling Dont know about GAP Id prefer to buy a car with dealer service history, dont know why but it just makes me feel safer...
