Ad you might struggle with living in a flat as you may have a shared dish. I think some people have got around this though.

The decat or sports cat makes the biggest difference on a 172 I think, filter and IK would give a couple of bhp on there own.

As said good price. Make sure engine has been fixed properly, could prove to be expensive if something fails again in the future.

By the sounds of it a PDA would be the better option, you can pick them up quite cheap and with a bluetooth gps reciever you could use it for sat nav.

Knowing roughly what it is, is the problem, even going a few mhz over can cause your card to overheat and cause permanent damage. It's a lot of risk for minimal gains. 60hz is the refresh rate, I think this is what it should be at if your using an LCD monitor.

inlets matched, remap and decat seem to be the usual first mods. A lot say induction kits don't do much apart from make a nice noise. Fit a panel filter and remove the acoustic valve (theres a guide on here if you search). RS tuning is good for the remap. Get the remap after all you mods to...

Without knowing what card you have it's difficult to advise. I'd be tempted to leave it as it is though with your track record! Have a look on tomshardware for an overclocking guide.

right click your desktop, then properties, then settings. Theres an advanced button but don't go there as we'll get another post shortly saying you've screwed it up! LOL.
