I've found my external drive real useful for getting data to various destinations. I'd struggle without it!
Internal SATA would be quicker and better as you said.

On saying that though I sold my trophy without the log book. I just showed the guy proof of my address and he was happy enough! I just forwarded it on when it arrived.
If it's on finance can you carry out an engine change?? What happens if you default on a payment or don't want it at the end of the finance term?
Is it worth plowing money into something that isn't technically yours until you've made the last/balloon payment?

Without trying to tell you how to live your life, but if your other thread about two jobs is anything to go by, i'd be looking at the cheapest run about I could find. The two cars you have listed at those prices are going to be money pits to keep on the road!

I quite often have to go into the device manager uninstall the memory stick. Take the memory stick out of the USB port. Place it back in and Windows shall reload the drivers for it. This has always worked for me but there maybe an easier way.
I paid £5000 for a 51 plate with 28K without cambelt. Car is very tidy inside, few small marks on the outside. I'd say you'll be looking around the £5500 mark personally.
