I wouldn't say it slow before 4500rpm. But things definately get going after then. Mine pulls a lot better from low down with decat and stainless exhaust fitted.

The only time I dislike it is when there are tramlines in the road. Rather than being predictable it can take me by surprise, especially when it seriously pulls you accross the road towards the curb!

I'd wire brush them, get rid of all loose paint and debris and then just repaint over the top using the yellow paint as a base coat.

And it's been paid out for by the insurance before! I'd stay away!

I have a halfords tailgate bike rack. I just put some rubber strips over the top of the spoiler to stop it marking. Works well IMO. I hate taking the wheels off to put the bike in the car. The disc brakes never seem to line back up perfectly. Plus with a rack you get no mud in your car!

Thats one of the best looking 172's on here! Not over the top in anyway, everything you've done has made it look better! I wasn't planning on changing my rear spoiler but after seeing yours I may do. it's the V6 spoiler isn't it?
