I have contis on my 1.2 and my dad has them on his A4 and they are a really good tyre (and do protect the rim well) by the looks of them. But I would have thought with the rim protector the michelins would be a bit more protective. Tom

Did you say the Michelins expose the rim slightly more than the contis? I thought the michelins had the rim protector on??
