Took it for its MOT and asked the garage to fit new braided lines and a replacement rear calliper. All sorted for another year but will be getting tyres soon.

How much did you get them for? I’ll be needing some tyres soon.

I would say a 1070 is enough, but if you don’t mind going second hand then you could pick up a 1080 for £450ish. Prices are ridiculous right now though.

What resolution are we talking, 1080p or 1440p? I’m assuming not 4K. My 1070 flys along in every game I’ve tried at 1080p.

That was all looking good until the ray traced reflections came into it...that looks amazing! I’ll no doubt be crying when then start introducing this into games because my 1070 will burn itself even thinking about it.

This is something I keep thinking about, seeing a graph back to back really does show it’s worth it.

It sounds like it could’ve just been thrown about a bit over time then, unless that seller did try saving a bit of money and tried some ‘cheap’ stock.

That’s just poor from whoever sold it, any decent business would do a 5 second check to make sure the kit was complete. Valeo are pretty good with stuff like that and get replacements out straight away, it annoys the hell out of their customer service team when something’s missing.
