    That does sound like the sensor, they are about £30 from renault. I have a similar issue but my dial doesn't move, it flicks about 1mm up and down but thats it:(

    They are not very reliable,i have been through 3 sets of pencil coils, but i think the new ones from renault have been redesigned to be reliable.

    The red 1 is for elec windows, at least its the same connector as on my mk2.

    Same as my last car, i went for a twin 3" ashley system, cheap at £140ish cat back but it was quite boomy and droned at motorway cruising speeds.
