How long does it take for new springs to settle(avg), as my 60mm kit doesn't seem any different from my 30mm springs atm.

They would make a vast improvement.

Any mains powered booster (available from most electrical places) 'should' give a bit better signal, but not by a lot i have found. TBH if the area is bad in general theres not much can be done.
