@DV8 - Adam at Renault Wolverhampton has been off sick recently so you may be as well to ring up the landline. It'll be a lad called bobby that you'll have to deal with, but you will get the same level of service and discount.
I think you'll lose a fair chunk of torque mate with such short runners. Do you have any images you can post? It may help me understand your design. Don't worry I'm not out to rip it off! I'm very much sticking with the 197 inlet on mine.
I use dunlop tracking sticks for all the toe set up front and rear. I use the string method to get the initial readings to make sure everything is 'straight' as the dunlop sticks will only give you the total toe in/out.
For camber I've got 2 methods - camber gauge or the more accurate - iPhone...
I'd comfortably run oil temps of 110 - 120 degrees tbh mate. The oil will stand it and it also boils off the water/condensation that accumulates. A good quality oil is a must though.
Cup racers ran a oil to water oil cooler mate. It's a modine type.
I'll be running my mocal laminova oil cooler on the new engine, but I'll still be running 10/60 oil.
Cable is specific to the gen90 I'm afraid. If you ring ktec up they might let you have the software that doesn't give full access, ie to adjust the map.
You may well have to bite the bullet and buy the full access software and cable mate. It's about £150 I think?
