I'm sure many of you will come out with all manner of answers to the following statement, but hey, here goes
met maz today, and had a good look around the car. Turns out it is pretty much mint ( not a single mark on it!) and runs just as it should. No knocks, no excess tapping, nothing...
nah its all good. i think i may be sorted now :)
fletch - lets just say my hatred of 'chelsea chariots' is now justified! although it does mean clio will return minus all the bloody dents i hate! dare i say it'll be MINT for the first time in its life!
hi all,
after a small 'meeting' with a rather hard object on friday the clio wont be able to make it to the photoshoot on the 10th as its gotta go in for a bit of paint!
so unless someone can offer me a seat to come along i think i'm gonna have to count myself out :(

Have got the HEL braided lines and ATE Dot 4 race fluid, teamed with Brembo HCs and Ferodo extra steel pads. did a full day at bedford, and the pedal stayed firm all day, with no brake fade, whereas the standard kit would have died very early on.
Think Ben (Nero) was runing uprated discs but...
the car will sit a bit higher yes, but barely noticeable really.
braking wise i do find the back can float about a bit under heavy braking but thats as much due to having good front brakes as anything else
only thing i found handling wise is that you can get some epic lift-off oversteer too...
i'd be wanting him to dry it all out, and get the entire interior valeted to get rid of the mould too. i'm guessing a seal or two may have gone somewhere too
have you checked the logbook to make sure its definitely a cup and not a standard 172 with turinis?
whiteley apparently they have 'on the move' meters around there too
Stuart - Do you run the track filter everyday? does it need that much maintenance?

Hi all,
fitted my v6 airbox today and its a fair bit louder than the standard one.
i'm doing a trackday at bedford on saturday and have been alerted that it may be too loud for the induction sound testers.
has anyone been round there with the same setup (the quietest of the ktec...
this is purely going by what i've picked up
theyre just a straight fit in, but the lack of split pin explains why they rattle a lot
bedding in is about 100 miles or so.
would check with someone in the know first though! on another note, are you coming to bedford saturday?
