A lad I know has botched a typhoon from a vectra onto a Mk2 Ph1 1.2 8v, gaffer tape and all sorts used to make it air tight and what have you! In which case, I'm sure you'll be fine. Whats the supposed issue with it not fitting Mk2? Is it the fly by the wheel or acoustic valve or something daft...
Good work Adam. Yeah fairly good info above there. When you've got the door cards off though. If you look at the exterior handle from the inside of the door you will see a vertical rod on the right hand side of handle (doing the driver side first) You need to count the number of notches up that...
I was looking at that the other day Fred, did seem alright. Can you get Sat Nav on it do you know? The AVIC X1 can be had for about £5-600 on ebay now, with everything included.
Speaking of women drivers 2 pulled out on me today at roundabouts in the space of 10 mins. 1st one would of been ok as I wasn't going fast but she'd of been fucked if someone was doing the speed limit, so I put my foot down right up to her an she still never noticed, hit the horn an gave her the...
Consider Wirral 182's sold by the way! PM'd you before mate, I'll collect on Friday if thats still ok with you, if not no worries, sure we can sort out another time.
When I first put the wheels on the rear near side looked very close to the vertical bit of the arch liner so i just gave it a good pull and bend and that kept it out of the way, no probs that I've noticed.
Eagle F1 GSD3 with rim protection just so you know, not that it makes any difference
Is that the magnetic thing Jonesy? If so does that come with it? I'm gonna stick my on the side of the plastic centre bit, where the gear stick and cig lighter is, but so it is pointing up. Don't really want it on the dash and if it bleeps to alert you then thats fine for me, if I don't know the...
Yeah most have 205 45, I've got 215 40 and yeah they do look good and handle great, fortunately though mine came with them on brand new so shouldn't need replacing for a while, I'll swap the wheels back to front aswell to make em last longer and then I'll probs get all four in 205 'coz like you...
Absoloutley gutted for you mate, there's just no justice at all, makes you want to just fúck it all off. Hope you get it all sorted without too many problems and at least the c**t was decent enough to stop and give his details etc, most of them would of been straight off.
Can anyone confirm they'll fit ok? - Looking to Middo, Saner, D"w!Z etc
Not that I don't trust you or anything Wirral, I do. It's just I can't work out how they fit etc from the pics, anyway, sure they'll be fine, anyone confirm?
Thanks.
What Billy said really although I'd start with 80 on the plastic to get rid of the 'bobbles' quicker, then go up the range like you suggested. You do need to get them smooth as poss. You need about 4 coats of primer otherwise it comes of when you wet sand with 1200, I then did about 4-5 coats of...
^ deffinatley, most important bit, sidestrips are harder than the handles from my experience. You have to get a perfect finish when sanding the plastic back first, I sanded mine back down twice and started again. Once after putting primer and paint on and then again after putting primer on, If...
^ I left mine together, Go and look at the handles on your car, and just make sure you spray the visable areas, You don't need to spray the insides. I lay mine on their back so they were lay on the plastic fittings and put some newspaper underneath to keep them secure. You can get the best...
