I replaced the std cassette unit with a good Pioneer model, made a hell of a difference. Gave the crappy std speakers a lot more clarity, but ideally replace them with componants for the best output.
I had a bit of a tussle with a BMW 525i in my RSi... i lost on the dual carriageway but stayed well ahead on the b road:), thats where your battles should take place.
Ill get some pics tomorrow. They cost £46.50 with next day delivery, im not using longer bolts, they supply another 8 so the spacer bolts to the hub then the wheel to the spacer(hubcentric of course).
Due to my RSi being a 172 rep there was a mahoosive gap between the edge of the tyre and the arch, so i stuck on some 25mm spacers that i got from ebay and they are great. The car feels a lot more planted on the road now and the front end looks mint
K4M is not one of the easiest to get a good setup on, especially with the cable version, mine is a ktec ramcharger piping with kn filter.
As i said,if its a cable throtlle you will have to get a kit specifically designed for that year and model i.e. 99-01 due to the idle flow meter pictured...
Ok so i can clear my mind once and for all, i have dual optics on my ph1, if i was to fit a 6000k hid kit to them and the beam was focused, would i still pass an mot as i have manual levelling.(i am aware its not strictly legal due to no washers or auto levelling)
