Hi mate, you can get two types of shims that I know of. One is the plastic type with the hole in the middle from tweek's, k-tec etc. The other are the metal one's like I use from Pure motorsport they are nearly double the price at £30 for a pair of 1 degree but apparently the plastic ones can...

They do seem a bit of a pain to get out mate and as Jay says it's not something I would be removing personally :)

I would recommend to change them after lots of advice I have had recently! Although I was advised a year ago not to by one company. I would presume they are the same company :)

No not all the time, Mine didn't have the spacer's for a while and I didn't know until I took the disc's off the first time! There was no play until it shagged the bearings, it had ground the bottom of the stub axle on mine though where the disc had been rubbing on it

Thanks for that Mark :) My oil temp used to be on the cooler too but has never worked so just trying to get it all working for the next race Ahh good stuff I was going to use a T piece for the pressure so I will order one of those now! Good idea by Troy as then you have two different readings...

Yes mate that was why I asked in the first place as I guess they had been run without hence all the damage in the first pic! Just grab a couple from Renault and pop them on so that it doesn't damage your new set :)
