i wanted a 20v turbo a few years ago but they are very expensive to insure (group 18) clio (172) is 16

fiat coupe 20v 1307kg 220bhp (171bhp/Ton) 0-60= 6.0 0-100=14.5 1/4 mile 14.6 top speed 155mph best get some mods to keeo up with that, tim0172s 172 runs the 1/4 mile around the same time

142 is my top speed but there was a little left (not much) can you tell the difference now youve had the chip i imagine 0.2 over 1/4 mile is hard to detect

mk2 172 did 6.64 at trax this year.

well if i manage to get my turbo done i will run at the street car shoot out at elvington next year, they did standing 1.2 mile, 400m and a timed track event in fwd, rwd and awd classes, my favourite was a 700bhp skyline, hit 196mph in 1.2miles:D

just need to hire a 2 mile airfield runway and have a big race;) craggy whats your top indicated speed?

craggy whats your top speed? im sure i could take you 60 up to max down a long straight, although i admit there wouldnt be much in it. you race any 172s on the motorway except rhys, but looking at his rolling road power and 1/4 mile times im sure mines faster.

i think that they will look at the 2 photos then count the number of lines the 2 cars ahve moved between the 2 photos, using this they can check the speed, your will show <30mph and his just over. i dont think you have anything to worry about

i understand its going to be 28k though , which as nice as it is i want alot more car for that type of money
